ThePlace in the Arabesque Graphics Book!
We are excited to tell that we are part of the new Arabesque Graphics book, to be in stores starting this April! The book is a compendium of contribution from various young or well known designers/studios such as Jonathan Barnbrook, Reza Abedini, Atrissi Design, Khatt Foundation, Mediamatic (Amsterdam), Mohtaraf… and us!
Here is a preview spread in which you can see a poster of the Modwi typeface (bottom left), designed by Kj.
“Arabesque investigates the current creative potential of the Arab World and Persia. The book collects examples of recent innovative and groundbreaking design work that is inspired by the richness of the region’s visual culture. In addition to a wide range of Arabic fonts and typefaces, it presents graphic design, modern calligraphy, logos and illustration by artists from Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.”

Your typeface is undoubtedly amongst my most favourite examples in Arabesque. I’m really glad a link on my WP Dashboard brought me to your site. Keep up the brilliant work!
